In my work I begin with different processes and concepts that involve everything from the outwardly simple and banal to the more abstract and difficult to grasp.
About me
I often review my surroundings and the trivialities where I find seeds from daily life that fascinate me. This can be everything from a single word in a book to a water drop’s path across the washing machine’s window.
I work to examine, analyze, refine and cultivate these ideas to something which can be beautiful, captivating and perhaps a little crazy. In order not to limit the interpretation of these ideas I allow the idea and concept to steer my choice of technique and material. Often these are installations where the viewer can follow my thoughts through the creative process.
