This is our Island, ”nash ostrov”.
The installation concerns the different forms of, or lack of, communications
within a family, as well as to, and from the family. The closed polished public
surface of the family who minds it own business and avoids interference from
authorities and the curios preying eyes of neighbors. But even in the most
private spheres there are taboos, sensitive issues and complex problems,
things that are too hard to talk about, things that are hidden underneath the
carpet behind closed doors.

Инсталляция затрагивает вопросы общения или отсутсия такового - внутри семьи, между семьей и внешним миром. Это «отполированный» имидж замкнутой семьи, которая занимается своим делом и избегает вмешательства властей и любопытных глаз соседей. В то же время в такой семье существуют свои табу, свои чувствительные вопросы и сложные проблемы, темы, на которые трудно говорить, тайны, спрятанные за закрытыми дверями.
