En buss som tar er mellan Uppsala och Väsby.
Stig på bussen i Uppsala till Hakas vernissage i Upplands Väsby och sedan återvänder ni till Uppsala konstmuseums vernissage med både Thompsonstipendiaterna och Natasha Dahnbergs separatutställning.
Resan är kostnadsfri men det krävs att alla OSA för att grantera sig en plats på bussen. Det finns 45 platser.

Om utställningen:
Haka ställde ut som grupp senast 2007 med utställningen Saga Myt Utsaga på Bror Hjorts Hus i Uppsala.
På Väsby konsthall har vi tagit fasta på att lokalen är delad i två likadana halvor. Vi har arbetat med motsatser, speglingar och kanske kan man säga Två sidor av samma mynt, eller snarare två sidor av fem olika konstnärer?

The exhibition shows interesting works of seven Swedish artists: Anna-Karin Brus, Katriina Flensburg, Agneta Forslund, Bodil Gellermark , Bill-Ove Jonsson, Henny Linn Kjellberg and Katrina Loelv. The occation for the exhibition is the 10th anniversary of cooperation between the Hessian Adult Education Association and the Swedish Studiefrämjandet. Kleinsassen and Uppsala have had a scholarship exchange of artists and all seven exhibitors have been in Kleinsassen on a scholarship in the last 10 years.

The exhibition will open on Sunday, September 25 2011och lasts until October 23 2011.

During the evening, flowers will be released from a melting block of ice. Sit down and listen to the sounds created. In the exhibition Vänskapsband at Uppsala Art Museum one more installation by Brus/Bodén can be seen. The duo has celebrated ten years of cooperation in the experimental pop band differnet and techno duo Liminals, lately they have combined art and sound resulting in installations and performances. Welcome!

NOTE: The museum is open between 12.00-16:30 and 19:00-24.00 the 10:th of September 2011, come by and listen!

The exhibition and focuses on artists’ groups that have existed in Uppland during the 1900s until today. From Bruno Liljefors and his circle of contemporary groups.

DyreDamer (Animal ladies)

Vibe Bredahl Louise Hindsgavl, Lykke Andersen, Lisbeth Bank Nielsen, Marika Seidler, Lisa Wallström Beck, Anna-Karin Brus, Tanja K. Jensen and Stephanie Donso all use references and inspirations from nature and animals in their art.

The exhibition “DyreDamer” examines the fact that a lot of female contemporary artists are dealing with issues related to the animal as a motif, the man with the animal or an animal-nature perspective. Is there really a longing for nature? Is there a break with an idyllic nature, a break with previous generations of artistic practices or are there whole other things?

Animal ladies can be seen at the Art Centre Silkeborg Bad in period 20 May -18. September 2011.

Anna-Karin Brus has developed strongly over the past ten years. She has participated in both solo exhibitions as well as group shows, she has curated art projects and made public commissions. She is broad and diverse. In addition to visual art, she is a part of the electronic act Differnet, which provides a platform for musical experimentation. Anna-Karin’s art is characterized by its own expression were painting and collage meet in an interesting way.
Anna-Karin Brus receives the County Council of Uppsalas artistic development grant, for her strong commitment to development and improvement and for her artistic fruitful expressions that in the coming years will be further developed in a new technique - video animation.
